Same Day Delivery
Ordering from another country takes a few minutes online, and a local florist handles the delivery from there — you pick the date at checkout and the flowers are made up on the islands. When words over the phone are not landing, flowers at the door restart the conversation better than another call does, and you can put the sentence you could not say into the card. A card message comes with every order at no extra cost, printed word for word, and checkout is in your own currency, paid securely online.
Choose an arrangement, name the day you want it there, and a florist on the islands will build it and deliver it in person.
“The bouquet was even more beautiful than the photo. Arrived fresh, perfectly wrapped and exactly on time. My recipient was absolutely delighted. Highest recommendation.”
“Needed flowers delivered the same day — Internet Florist delivered perfectly. The arrangement was gorgeous and the packaging was premium quality. Will order again!”
“Used Internet Florist three times now. Every single order has been fresh, beautifully arranged and on time. Genuinely the best online florist I have found anywhere.”
Deliveries run Monday to Saturday. Pick your date inside that week at checkout and the florist works to it. Arrangements are made with what's freshest, and if a flower isn't available the florist substitutes one of equal or greater value in a matching style, so what turns up holds the shape, the scale and the colour you chose. If the recipient isn't home, the florist will typically call them or arrange redelivery.
Give the complete address: the street or house and number, the five-digit postcode and the town, plus a phone number for the recipient. Postcodes here are French in form — 98600 for Mata-Utu, for example. Florists use the phone number to confirm availability and the exact address, so it is the one field worth double-checking. Apartment deliveries often need a door code; add it at checkout. And someone mid-journey, at an airport or a harbour, is almost impossible to reach — send to their hotel, office or home address instead, timed for after they arrive.
There are over 100 flower arrangements to send, and gift baskets, plants and chocolates if flowers alone are not the gift you have in mind. What grows here is what you will see most: hibiscus, frangipani and tiare, the Tahitian gardenia, gathered locally rather than shipped in. The tropical climate lets those species bloom the year round, with no real off-season and no reliance on imported stock. Coconut palm fronds and pandanus leaves do the framing.
Flowers here are more often woven than wrapped. They are strung into garlands, known locally as fahu, and into head crowns for ceremonial wear, and those garlands are presented to honoured guests and to family members at customary ceremonies. A florist working in that tradition thinks in what is worn and carried as much as in what stands in a vase, so say which occasion the flowers are for and choose the piece that fits it.
Mother's Day, the last Sunday of May, is when flowers and garlands are commonly given to mothers. It is the exception to the usual schedule: florists open for the big flower days, so your order can arrive even when the date falls on a Sunday. Order at least 48 hours ahead, as you would around Valentine's Day. Territory Day (Fête du Territoire), on 29 July, is marked with customary ceremonies where flower and leaf garlands are worn and presented. At Christmas, on 25 December, flowers go into homes and churches for family gatherings.
Saying goodbye from far away is difficult, and flowers stand in for you at the service. In a territory that is largely Catholic, white flowers and floral wreaths are what is used at funerals and at grave visits. The same is true on All Saints' Day, 1 November, when flowers are placed at graves and brought to church ceremonies in remembrance of the dead. Wreaths and formal funeral pieces need 24–48 hours' notice, so name the date of the service when you order.

You can request a preferred time slot, but exact times cannot be guaranteed — deliveries follow the local florist's routes and workload for the day. The delivery date you select at checkout is honoured.
