You do not need to be in Tervuren to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. The order can be paid for online in your own currency. Add the words you want the recipient to read: the card is free and the message is kept unchanged. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. People locate the town by Koninklijke Schenking in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination. Local landmarks such as René Stevens are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Same-day orders for Tervuren close at 14:00 local time. When completing the delivery details, enter the recipient’s full name, street address, number, postcode and town, together with a contact telephone number. Any required building access code should accompany the order.
Check with Rastelli before sending flowers for a guest, and supply the name on the booking. The address given for Rastelli is Hoornzeelstraat 63; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Vrije Basisschool Steinerschool Kristoffel Tervuren, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. A delivery for British School of Brussels is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. Sending flowers to someone at Gemeentelijke basisschool Tervuren? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
Flowers for a service at Sint-Jan-Evangelistkerk are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. When a funeral service is held at Sint-Hubertuskapel, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. For a service at Sint-Jozefkerk, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
An order for a staff member at Administratief centrum should include their organisation and department, with acceptance of flower deliveries checked beforehand.
If flowers are going to Begraafplaats Tervuren, check the opening hours for the day of the service and agree a handover point rather than relying on a plot number.
A delivery timed for a meal at Canapé needs the reservation name and the sitting; ask whether an earlier drop-off suits the restaurant better than one during service.
The listed gift categories include dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses and cakes; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
