A flower order for Tongeren can be placed from abroad, with a local florist handling the arrangement and delivery. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. Your own currency is used for payment at checkout. Add your personal message to the free card; your words are kept unchanged. Take a moment to review the names, spelling and signature before confirming, so the message you submit says what you intended and clearly identifies who it is from. Local landmarks such as Sacré-Cœur (Sacred Heart of Jesus) are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. Sint-Maternus is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
The order must be placed before 14:00 local time for same-day flowers in Tongeren. Include the full delivery address and postcode, the recipient’s name and a phone number the florist can use if details need checking. Supply any necessary door code as part of the delivery instructions. Address details for Paspoel should include the locality, street, number and postcode.
Check with Eburon Hotel before sending flowers for a guest, and supply the name on the booking. Sending to Ambiotel? Check acceptance with the hotel and put the reservation name on the order. For flowers addressed to a guest at Boutique Hotel Caelus VII, first ask the hotel whether it accepts deliveries and use the guest’s reservation name in the order. For an order addressed to Eburon Hotel, the listed location is de Schiervelstraat 10; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
For a delivery to a teacher at Vrije Basisschool Picpussen, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. When several people are giving the flowers together at viio 3e graad, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.
If the service takes place at Sint-Catharinakerk, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. For a service at Sint-Gilliskapel, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. Flowers for a service at Sint-Jozefskerk are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Check whether Justitiehuis Tongeren accepts flowers for staff before ordering, and include the organisation and any department in the delivery details.
For a table booked at De Mijlpaal, flowers are usually handed over at reception rather than carried to the table, so agree with the restaurant beforehand when and where they should arrive.
You can also browse dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses and cakes, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
