You do not need to be in La Dorada to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. Your own currency is used for payment at checkout. You can write a message for the card without an extra charge, and the wording stays as you entered it. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. People locate the town by La Dorada Railway Co. in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination. Monumento Pez Dorada is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
To order flowers for same-day delivery in La Dorada, use the destination’s 15:00 local cutoff. Give the recipient’s full name, street and number, postcode and town, plus a contact phone number for address queries. For a building with coded access, supply the entry code at checkout.
A flower order for someone staying at Hotel zona tropical should use the booking name; check acceptance with the hotel first. Check with Hotel Casa Dorada before sending flowers for a guest, and supply the name on the booking. If the recipient is staying at Hotel Las Acacias, ask about flower delivery arrangements and give the name on their reservation. The listed address for Hotel zona tropical is Calle 11 12 27; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Escuela Sucre, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.
For a service at Catedral de Nuestra Señora del Carmen, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For a patient at Centro de Alta Complejidad del Magdalena Medio, ask the relevant ward about flower deliveries before ordering and use the hospital’s address as the destination.
Before placing a workplace order for Alcaldía Municipal de La Dorada, ask whether personal deliveries are accepted and give the organisation and recipient’s department.
For a table booked at El Remolcador, flowers are usually handed over at reception rather than carried to the table, so agree with the restaurant beforehand when and where they should arrive.
The listed gift categories include gift baskets, plants, chocolates, cakes and balloons; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
