You do not need to be in Santa Rosa to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. Place your order online and pay in your own currency. You can write a message for the card without an extra charge, and the wording stays as you entered it. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear.
Include the full delivery address and postcode, the recipient’s name and a phone number the florist can use if details need checking. Include an entry code with the order if one is required to access the building.
Sending to Hotel Gilvar? Check acceptance with the hotel and put the reservation name on the order. If you are sending to a guest of La Cabaña, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Verdeyaco, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.
Flowers for a service at Imagen de la virgen are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. If the service takes place at Piedra grande, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. For a service at Predio El Limon, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Use the reservation name for a delivery addressed to Hospedaje, after checking that the hotel can accept flowers.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at Parador, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
You can also browse gift baskets, plants, chocolates, cakes and balloons, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
