You’ll pick the city and day on the product
Ordering from abroad? A local florist prepares and delivers your flowers in Gilleleje. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. When you complete the order, you pay online in your own currency. A free card message is included, with your wording kept exactly as you write it. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else. Local landmarks such as Kongestenen are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. P.B. Feilberg (1835-1925) is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
For same-day flower delivery in Gilleleje, place your order before 14:00 local time. Provide the street, number, postcode and town together with the recipient’s full name and contact telephone number. Where access depends on a door code, include that code in the order details. If the recipient’s address is in Holmegårde, keep that locality in the full delivery address.
If the recipient is staying at Hotel gilleleje strand, ask about flower delivery arrangements and give the name on their reservation.
Before sending flowers to Holte-Hus Efterskole, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. Sending flowers to someone at Munkerupgård Kursusejendom? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. A delivery for Alme Kristne Friskole is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department.
For a service at Gilleleje Kirke, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. When a funeral service is held at Smidstrup Strandkirke, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. For a service at Søborg Kirke, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Use the reservation name for a delivery addressed to Hotel de Ville, after checking that the hotel can accept flowers.
For an address in Horneby Fælled, include the locality together with the street, number and postcode.
Before sending a tribute to Gilleleje Gamle Kirkegård, ask which gate is used for deliveries and whether somebody needs to be there to receive it.
If you are planning flowers for a meal at Babino, ask the restaurant whether it can accept the delivery and give the reservation name and meal date when discussing arrangements; do not assume that flowers can be left on the table before the guests arrive.
You can also browse dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses and cakes, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
