You do not need to be in Gambela to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. Place your order online and pay in your own currency. Your order includes a card at no extra cost, carrying your message without edits. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Place a same-day order for Gambela by the local cutoff of 14:00. Provide the street, number, postcode and town together with the recipient’s full name and contact telephone number. If an entry code is needed, include it with the order. Where the delivery address includes Zone A, retain the locality when filling in the order.
If the recipient is staying at Hotel Ethiopia, ask about flower delivery arrangements and give the name on their reservation.
Before sending flowers to Dicae school, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. For a delivery to a teacher at Itang High School, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
If the service takes place at Abobo Catholic Church, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. When a funeral service is held at Gambela Holy Trinity's Church, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. For a service at Gambella Catholic Church, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For flowers addressed to a guest at Grand Hotel, first ask the hotel whether it accepts deliveries and use the guest’s reservation name in the order.
For a recipient at Gambella Hospital, check with the hospital and ward that flowers are accepted, then use the hospital’s full address.
For someone working at Ethiopian Electric Utility, Gambela Region, confirm that flowers can be accepted and supply the organisation’s name and the relevant department.
When the destination is in Zone B, include the locality rather than leaving it out of the address.
A delivery timed for a meal at Restaurant Etiopia needs the reservation name and the sitting; ask whether an earlier drop-off suits the restaurant better than one during service.
The listed gift categories include gift baskets, plants, chocolates and cakes; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
