You do not need to be in Äänekoski to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. Pay for the flowers online, using your own currency at checkout. Your order includes a card at no extra cost, carrying your message without edits. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. Nuijasodan muistomerkki is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. Local landmarks such as Sankarimuistomerkki "Liekki" are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.

Use the full destination address on the order: street and number, postcode and town, followed by the recipient’s name and contact number. If an entry code is needed, include it with the order. If the destination is in Ääneniemi, retain the locality name as part of the full address.
Sending to Hotelli Hirvi? Check acceptance with the hotel and put the reservation name on the order. The address given for Hotelli Hirvi is Kotakennääntie 9; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
A delivery for Koulunmäen yhtenäiskoulu is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. When several people are giving the flowers together at POKE Vocational College, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. For a delivery to a teacher at Äänekosken lukio, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
For a service at Äänekosken helluntaiseurakunta, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. If the service takes place at Äänekosken vapaaseurakunta, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. For a service at Honkaristi, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
When ordering for a recipient at Äänekosken kaupungintalo, check acceptance of personal deliveries and include the organisation and department in the details.
If you are planning flowers for a meal at Café & Restaurant Koskenhelmi, also catering services, ask the restaurant whether it can accept the delivery and give the reservation name and meal date when discussing arrangements; do not assume that flowers can be left on the table before the guests arrive.
