A florist in Taivalkoski handles the arrangement and delivery when you order from abroad. When choosing the flowers, consider the recipient’s tastes and whether you want the gift to feel personal, formal or understated for the person receiving it. Your own currency is used for payment at checkout. Add your personal message to the free card; your words are kept unchanged. Take a moment to review the names, spelling and signature before confirming, so the message you submit says what you intended and clearly identifies who it is from. Local landmarks such as Tuntemattomien sotilaiden hauta are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.

Before sending to Taivalkosken sosiaali- ja terveysasema, confirm flower acceptance with the ward and enter the hospital’s own delivery address. The address given for Taivalkosken sosiaali- ja terveysasema is Sairaalantie 8; confirm the appropriate entrance or delivery point with the hospital before using this address for flowers.
If you are sending to a guest of Saija, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation. The address for Saija is given as Saijantie 8; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
A delivery for OSAO Taivalkosken yksikkö is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. Sending flowers to someone at Hutun koulu? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. When several people are giving the flowers together at Inkeen koulu, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.
For a service at Taivalkosken kirkko, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. If the service takes place at Taivalkosken rauhanyhdistys, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. When a funeral service is held at Siunauskappeli, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
If the recipient works at Kunnantalo, ask about personal flower deliveries and identify the organisation and their department in the address.
If you are planning flowers for a meal at Taivalvaaran hiihtokeskus kahvio ja ravintola, ask the restaurant whether it can accept the delivery and give the reservation name and meal date when discussing arrangements; do not assume that flowers can be left on the table before the guests arrive.
You can also browse dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses and cakes, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
Give the recipient’s full name, street and number, postcode and town, plus a contact phone number for address queries.
If an entry code is needed, include it with the order.
