Most frequent among the main flowers of our funeral flowers and wreaths in France are roses, followed by lilies, gerberas and hydrangeas. By colour, our funeral flowers and wreaths run from white to pink, mixed colours and purple. Our funeral flowers and wreaths are chosen for sympathy and farewells. If a particular stem is not in, it is exchanged for one of equal or greater value in a matching style.
In France, the calendar marks All Saints' Day (Toussaint) on 1 November, when chrysanthemums and other flowers are traditionally placed on graves.
Across France, chrysanthemums are strongly associated with graves, cemeteries and remembrance, so they are kept for a tribute rather than given as a celebratory gift.
As part of French tradition, white lilies and roses are common choices for funeral and sympathy arrangements; check the selected product for the flowers it includes.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
Give the recipient’s full name, street and number, postcode and town, plus a contact phone number for address queries.
