Ordering from abroad? A local florist prepares and delivers your flowers in Santiago Atitlán. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. Place your order online and pay in your own currency. Add your personal message to the free card; your words are kept unchanged. Take a moment to review the names, spelling and signature before confirming, so the message you submit says what you intended and clearly identifies who it is from. People locate the town by 25 Centavos - Doña Chonita in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.
For delivery on the same day in Santiago Atitlán, the order needs to be placed before 14:00 local time. Supply the full street address and postcode for the delivery town, and identify the recipient by their full name and contact telephone number. Where access depends on a door code, include that code in the order details.
If you are sending to a guest of Hotel Bambu, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation. If the recipient is staying at Hotel Casa Gozalez, ask about flower delivery arrangements and give the name on their reservation.
For a delivery to a teacher at Colegio Alfa y Omega, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. A delivery for Escuela Oficial de Educación Especial is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. Sending flowers to someone at Liceo Integral Linsa? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
When a funeral service is held at Alfa y Omega, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. For a service at Fraternidad Cristiana, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. For a service at Iglesia El Carismatico, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
When addressing flowers to a guest at Tiosh Abaj, supply the booking name and confirm acceptance with the hotel.
Ask about personal flower deliveries at Municipalidad de Santiago Atitlán, then identify the organisation and recipient’s department on the order.
For a table booked at Casa Ajachel (Restaurantes Atitlan), flowers are usually handed over at reception rather than carried to the table, so agree with the restaurant beforehand when and where they should arrive.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants, chocolates and balloons. Check availability for the product you choose.
