You can send flowers to someone in Þingeyjarsveit even when you are in another country, with the arrangement prepared and delivered locally for your recipient. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. Place your order online and pay in your own currency. The included card carries your personal message word for word, with no additional charge. Take a moment to review the names, spelling and signature before confirming, so the message you submit says what you intended and clearly identifies who it is from. Hallgrímur og Ólafía is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. People locate the town by Minnismerki um Stofnun SÍS in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
For delivery on the same day in Þingeyjarsveit, the order needs to be placed before 15:00 local time. Supply the full street address and postcode for the delivery town, and identify the recipient by their full name and contact telephone number. For a building with coded access, supply the entry code at checkout.
Before ordering for a guest at Rauðaskriða, ask the hotel about flower deliveries and confirm the reservation name. Use the reservation name for a delivery addressed to Vogafjós Farm Resort, after checking that the hotel can accept flowers.
For a delivery to a teacher at Reykjahlíðarskóli, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
If the service takes place at Flateyjarkirkja, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. For a service at Hálskirkja, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. Flowers for a service at Illugastaðakirkja are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
If you cannot visit a guest at Goðafoss, check flower acceptance with the hotel and use the reservation name when ordering.
Check whether Seigla accepts flowers for staff before ordering, and include the organisation and any department in the delivery details.
For a table booked at Agave, flowers are usually handed over at reception rather than carried to the table, so agree with the restaurant beforehand when and where they should arrive.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants and chocolates. Check availability for the product you choose.
