A flower order for Hokkaido can be placed from abroad, with a local florist handling the arrangement and delivery. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. For payment, checkout uses your own currency. Add your personal message to the free card; your words are kept unchanged. Take a moment to review the names, spelling and signature before confirming, so the message you submit says what you intended and clearly identifies who it is from. Local landmarks such as Memorial stone for dead Tsugaru soldiers are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. People locate the town by Cape Nosappu in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Planning a same-day delivery in Hokkaido? The ordering deadline is 12:00 local time. Before submitting, include the recipient’s full name and phone number together with the destination’s street, number, postcode and town. Remember to include the entry code if the destination requires one. For an address in Higashi 10-go kita, include the locality together with the street, number and postcode.
If you are sending flowers to someone at Sapporo Hokushin Hospital, first check whether their ward accepts them and enter the hospital’s full delivery address. Check the flower policy of the relevant ward before ordering for Asahikawa Red Cross Hospital, using the hospital’s own address for the destination.
For a guest at Dormy Inn Abashiri, confirm that the hotel accepts flower deliveries and provide the name used for the reservation. Use the reservation name for a delivery addressed to The Maples Niseko, after checking that the hotel can accept flowers.
When a funeral service is held at Sapporo Japan Temple, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. For a service at Hokkaido Jingu Shrine, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. Flowers for a service at Nemuro Kotohira Shrine are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Check with Toya SunPalace Resort & Spa before sending flowers for a guest, and supply the name on the booking.
Sending to a patient at Kutchan Kosei General Hospital calls for a check with their ward about flowers and the hospital’s complete delivery address on the order.
When ordering for a recipient at Wassamu Town Office, check acceptance of personal deliveries and include the organisation and department in the details.
When entering an address in Kotobukidori 5-chome, include the locality as well as the street and postcode.
Confirm the delivery point and handover arrangements with Korin Saijo Nagomi before using it as the address for a funeral tribute. A tribute addressed to Satozuka Cemetery should carry the name of the person it is for and the time of the service: a cemetery covers more ground than a single address.
For a table booked at Ramen-ya Tenkin, flowers are usually handed over at reception rather than carried to the table, so agree with the restaurant beforehand when and where they should arrive.
You can also browse plants, chocolates and cakes, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
Sending flowers to someone at Hakodate High School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
