You’ll pick the city and day on the product
You can order flowers for De Fryske Marren online from another country, with local preparation and delivery. For a personal gift, let the recipient’s tastes guide your choice of flowers and consider whether a relaxed, romantic or more formal style would suit them. Place your order online and pay in your own currency. The included card carries your personal message word for word, with no additional charge. Take a moment to review the names, spelling and signature before confirming, so the message you submit says what you intended and clearly identifies who it is from. Jetze Veldstra (1886-1945) is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. Local landmarks such as Monument 1940-1945 (Jacob Wilbers en Johannes Wissink) are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Planning a same-day delivery in De Fryske Marren? The ordering deadline is 14:00 local time. Provide the street, number, postcode and town together with the recipient’s full name and contact telephone number. Where access depends on a door code, include that code in the order details. An address in Skipsleat should retain that locality alongside the other delivery details.
A flower order for someone staying at Hotel Country Rose should use the booking name; check acceptance with the hotel first.
Before sending flowers to CBS Eben Haëzer, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. A delivery for Christelijk Basisschool De Paedwizer is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. Sending flowers to someone at CSG Bogerman – Locatie Balk? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
For a service at De Paadwizer, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. When a funeral service is held at Hervormde Kerk, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. If the service takes place at Gereformeerde Gemeente, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
If the recipient is staying at De Oorsprong, ask about flower delivery arrangements and give the name on their reservation.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at 't Far eetcafé, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
Other listed options include dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses and cakes. Check availability for the product you choose.
