You’ll pick the city and day on the product
Ordering from abroad? A local florist prepares and delivers your flowers in Cabeceiras. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. Place your order online and pay in your own currency. Write your message for the included card, free of charge and without changes to your wording. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. Dom Nuno Álvares Pereira is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. Local landmarks such as Arménio Marques are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
The local ordering deadline for same-day flowers in Cabeceiras is 18:00. The address details should identify the street and number, postcode and town, as well as the recipient’s full name and phone number. Provide the code needed to enter the building, where applicable. Address details for Bairro de São Miguel should include the locality, street, number and postcode.
If you are sending to a guest of Hotel Residencial Batalha, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation. A guest’s reservation name should accompany an order for Pensão Gladius, after you have checked with the hotel that a flower delivery can be accepted.
Sending flowers to someone at Escola António Cândido da Encarnação? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. For a delivery to a teacher at Escola Primária da Ribeira de Cima, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
For a service at Capela da Santa Casa da Misericórdia, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. For a service at Capela de São Jorge, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. When a funeral service is held at Igreja Matriz da Batalha, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Check with Hotel Villa Batalha before sending flowers for a guest, and supply the name on the booking.
An order for a staff member at Câmara Municipal da Batalha should include their organisation and department, with acceptance of flower deliveries checked beforehand.
For someone in Casal das Cancelas, use that locality name within the delivery address.
A delivery timed for a meal at Mestre Afonso needs the reservation name and the sitting; ask whether an earlier drop-off suits the restaurant better than one during service.
Other listed options include dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses, cakes and balloons. Check availability for the product you choose.
