You do not need to be in Eira Queimada to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. At checkout, the order is paid online in your own currency. Include a personal card message at no extra cost, with the wording reproduced exactly as you enter it. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else. Soldado Desconhecido is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Include the full delivery address and postcode, the recipient’s name and a phone number the florist can use if details need checking. Provide the code needed to enter the building, where applicable. If the destination is in Almacave, retain the locality name as part of the full address.
Before sending flowers to Escola Primária, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
Flowers for a service at Capela de São Pedro de Balsemão are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at Santuário de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. If the service takes place at Sé de Lamego, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Sending to Hotel Lamego? Check acceptance with the hotel and put the reservation name on the order.
Before sending to Unidade Hospitalar de Lamego - Unidade Local de Saúde de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, confirm flower acceptance with the ward and enter the hospital’s own delivery address.
When ordering for a recipient at Junta de Freguesia de Queimadela, check acceptance of personal deliveries and include the organisation and department in the details.
For an address in Bairro do Quelho, include the locality together with the street, number and postcode.
A delivery timed for a meal at O Padrinho needs the reservation name and the sitting; ask whether an earlier drop-off suits the restaurant better than one during service.
You can also browse dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses, cakes and balloons, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
