You do not need to be in Escavedas to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. Place your order online and pay in your own currency. The card is included in the order, and your message is printed exactly as written. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else. Centenário D. Bosco is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Same-day orders for Escavedas close at 18:00 local time. Enter the complete street address, postcode and town for the recipient, with their full name and a telephone number for contact. Provide the code needed to enter the building, where applicable. Include the locality name on an order addressed to someone in Bairro Novo.
Before ordering for a guest at Quinta da Pitarrela, ask the hotel about flower deliveries and confirm the reservation name. For flowers addressed to a guest at Quinta da Pousada, first ask the hotel whether it accepts deliveries and use the guest’s reservation name in the order.
Before sending flowers to Antiga Escola Primária de Povoação, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. A delivery for Antiga Escola Primária de Seara is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. Sending flowers to someone at Antiga Escola Primária de Tanha? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
Flowers for a service at Capela de Nossa Senhora da Guia are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. If the service takes place at Capela de Nosso Senhor dos Aflitos, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. For a service at Capela de Santa Marta, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
A guest’s reservation name should accompany an order for Quinta da Estrada Winery Douro Valley, after you have checked with the hotel that a flower delivery can be accepted.
When ordering for a recipient at Junta de Freguesia de Nogueira e Ermida, check acceptance of personal deliveries and include the organisation and department in the details.
For a recipient whose address is in Bairro da Fonte de Cima, keep that place name in the address you enter.
If you are planning flowers for a meal at Santo Antonio, ask the restaurant whether it can accept the delivery and give the reservation name and meal date when discussing arrangements; do not assume that flowers can be left on the table before the guests arrive.
Other listed options include dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses, cakes and balloons. Check availability for the product you choose.
