You can order flowers for Medvode online from another country, with local preparation and delivery. For a personal gift, let the recipient’s tastes guide your choice of flowers and consider whether a relaxed, romantic or more formal style would suit them. The online payment is made in your own currency. Write your message for the included card, free of charge and without changes to your wording. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. Skupni grob borcev, talcev in žrtev fašizma is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. Local landmarks such as Spomenik padlim med prvo svetovno vojno v Preski are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Order before 14:00 in the destination’s local time for same-day delivery in Medvode. The address details should identify the street and number, postcode and town, as well as the recipient’s full name and phone number. Include an entry code with the order if one is required to access the building. If the destination is in Svetje, retain the locality name as part of the full address.
Sending flowers to someone at Osnovna šola Medvode? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. A delivery for OŠ Preska is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department.
Flowers for a service at St. John the Baptist Church are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at Hafnerjeva kapelica, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For flowers addressed to someone at Občina Medvode, give the organisation and department and confirm that personal deliveries are accepted.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at Picerija Hitri, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
You can also browse dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses and cakes, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
