You do not need to be in Hwalcheon-dong to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. You pay online in your own currency. The card is included in the order, and your message is printed exactly as written. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
For same-day flower delivery in Hwalcheon-dong, place your order before 14:00 local time. When completing the delivery details, enter the recipient’s full name, street address, number, postcode and town, together with a contact telephone number. Add any required entry code before submitting the order. For an address in Gyeonghwa-dong, include the locality together with the street, number and postcode.
For a delivery to a teacher at Jinhae Womens High School, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. A delivery for Jinhaenam Middle School is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. Before sending flowers to Pungho Elementary School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
When a funeral service is held at Deoksandong Catholic Church, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. If the service takes place at Haegungyoyuksa Catholic Church, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. For a service at Jinhaehaegun Catholic Church, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Before arranging flowers for someone at Naval Maritime Medical Center, check acceptance with the hospital and ward, then provide the institution’s complete address.
An address in Seok-dong should retain that locality alongside the other delivery details.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at Baekgu Fish Restaurant, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
