A flower order for Avissawella can be placed from abroad, with a local florist handling the arrangement and delivery. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. The order can be paid for online in your own currency. The card is included in the order, and your message is printed exactly as written. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else.
For the delivery address, provide the recipient’s full name and telephone number along with the street, house number, postcode and town. If the building requires an access code, provide it when placing the order. Where the delivery address includes Bollathawa Junction, retain the locality when filling in the order.
When addressing flowers to a guest at Avissawella Rest House, supply the booking name and confirm acceptance with the hotel. Before ordering for a guest at Hotel Famous, ask the hotel about flower deliveries and confirm the reservation name. A guest’s reservation name should accompany an order for Kolonne River Side Hotel, after you have checked with the hotel that a flower delivery can be accepted. When arranging flowers for Avissawella Rest House, note its listed address, Avissawella-Colombo Road; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Dehiowita Maha Vidyalaya, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. For a delivery to a teacher at Ihala Thalduwa KV, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. Before sending flowers to Janadipathi Vidyalaya, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
If the service takes place at Bomaluwa Temple, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. For a service at Jumma Masjid, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. When a funeral service is held at Kadagama Sri Wijaya Mangalaramaya, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
If you are sending flowers to someone at Avissawella Base Hospital, first check whether their ward accepts them and enter the hospital’s full delivery address.
Before sending to a workplace such as Board of Investment of Sri Lanka - SEPZ, check acceptance and include the organisation and department in the address.
Address details for Boralugoda should include the locality, street, number and postcode.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at Ranamuthu Restaurant & Guest House, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
You can also browse gift baskets, plants, chocolates and cakes, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
Before sending to Gomez PVT Hospital, confirm flower acceptance with the ward and enter the hospital’s own delivery address.
