Send flowers to Chankanai from another country; the arrangement is made and delivered locally. When choosing the flowers, consider the recipient’s tastes and whether you want the gift to feel personal, formal or understated for the person receiving it. The online payment is made in your own currency. Include a personal card message at no extra cost, with the wording reproduced exactly as you enter it. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else. Local landmarks such as St. Don Bosco Statue are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.
Allow for the time difference when ordering: the same-day deadline in Chankanai is 18:00 local time. Complete the order with the destination’s street address, number, postcode and town, adding the recipient’s full name and contact telephone number. Any required building access code should accompany the order. If the recipient’s address is in Thirunelvely, keep that locality in the full delivery address.
A flower order for a recipient at Divisional Hospital Pandatharippu needs the hospital’s own delivery address and a prior check with the ward about acceptance. Sending to a patient at Alaveddy Divisional Hospital calls for a check with their ward about flowers and the hospital’s complete delivery address on the order.
Before sending flowers to J/Victoria College, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. For a delivery to a teacher at J/Jaffna College, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
For a service at Eenchadi Vairavar Kovil, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. If the service takes place at Kannakai Amman Kovil, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. Flowers for a service at Mathagal St. Sebastian's Church are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Before arranging flowers for someone at Divisional Hospital Chankanai, check acceptance with the hospital and ward, then provide the institution’s complete address.
Ask about personal flower deliveries at Rector Offrice, then identify the organisation and recipient’s department on the order.
