You can order flowers for Dambulla online from another country, with local preparation and delivery. For a personal gift, let the recipient’s tastes guide your choice of flowers and consider whether a relaxed, romantic or more formal style would suit them. Checkout lets you pay in your own currency. Add the words you want the recipient to read: the card is free and the message is kept unchanged. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. People locate the town by Sima Malakaya in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination. Soldier is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door.
Order before 18:00 in the destination’s local time for same-day delivery in Dambulla. Complete the order with the destination’s street address, number, postcode and town, adding the recipient’s full name and contact telephone number. For a building with coded access, supply the entry code at checkout.
A flower order for a recipient at Dambulla Ayurveda Hospital needs the hospital’s own delivery address and a prior check with the ward about acceptance. If you are sending flowers to someone at Dambulla General Provincial Hospital, first check whether their ward accepts them and enter the hospital’s full delivery address. You will find Dambulla Ayurveda Hospital listed at Kurunegala - Dambulla Road; confirm the appropriate entrance or delivery point with the hospital before using this address for flowers.
A flower order for someone staying at Gimanhala should use the booking name; check acceptance with the hotel first. If you are sending to a guest of Amaya Lake hotel, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation. Check with Dignity Villa before sending flowers for a guest, and supply the name on the booking. The listed address for Gimanhala is Anuradhapura Road 754; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
If the service takes place at Dambulla Cave Temple, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. Flowers for a service at Buddha statue are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. When a funeral service is held at Somawathi Dagoba, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Check whether Ceylon Electricity Board accepts flowers for staff before ordering, and include the organisation and any department in the delivery details.
If you are planning flowers for a meal at Pizza Hut, ask the restaurant whether it can accept the delivery and give the reservation name and meal date when discussing arrangements; do not assume that flowers can be left on the table before the guests arrive.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants, chocolates and cakes. Check availability for the product you choose.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Thiththawelgolla junior school, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.
