You can order flowers for Hatharaliyadda online from another country, with local preparation and delivery. For a personal gift, let the recipient’s tastes guide your choice of flowers and consider whether a relaxed, romantic or more formal style would suit them. At checkout, the order is paid online in your own currency. A personal message accompanies the flowers on a free card, using exactly the words you provide. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card.
Order before 18:00 in the destination’s local time for same-day delivery in Hatharaliyadda. Provide the street, number, postcode and town together with the recipient’s full name and contact telephone number. Add any required entry code before submitting the order. For an address in Hondenigoda, include the locality together with the street, number and postcode.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Alagalla Primary School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. Sending flowers to someone at Hatharaliyadda National School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. For a delivery to a teacher at Maha/Katu/ Sangarajapura Maha Vidyalaya, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
When a funeral service is held at Alagalla Temple, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. For a service at Dunkumbura Raja Maha Viharaya, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. For a service at Minigamuwa Temple, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
If the recipient’s address is in Marawa, keep that locality in the full delivery address.
