Ordering from abroad? A local florist prepares and delivers your flowers in Medawachchiya. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. The order can be paid for online in your own currency. A free card message is included, with your wording kept exactly as you write it. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else.
The order needs the recipient’s full name, a contact number and the complete destination address, including its street number, postcode and town. Add any required entry code before submitting the order.
For a delivery to a teacher at Maithripala Senanayake Central College, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
For a service at Isinbessagala Buddhist Temple, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at Daily Dose Hotel Bakers, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants, chocolates and cakes. Check availability for the product you choose.
