You can send flowers to someone in Vevey even when you are in another country, with the arrangement prepared and delivered locally for your recipient. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. The online payment is made in your own currency. A free card message is included, with your wording kept exactly as you write it. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else. Local landmarks such as Le Véritable Messager Boiteux de Berne et Vevey are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. People locate the town by Charlie Chaplin in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
The local ordering deadline for same-day flowers in Vevey is 15:00. Supply the full street address and postcode for the delivery town, and identify the recipient by their full name and contact telephone number. Supply any necessary door code as part of the delivery instructions. Address details for Gilamont should include the locality, street, number and postcode.
Before ordering for a guest at Grand Hôtel du Lac, ask the hotel about flower deliveries and confirm the reservation name. A guest’s reservation name should accompany an order for Astra Hotel, after you have checked with the hotel that a flower delivery can be accepted. Check that Hostellerie de Genève can accept flowers for the guest before ordering, using the reservation name to identify them. The address for Grand Hôtel du Lac is given as Rue d'Italie 1; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
A delivery for Centre d'enseignement professionnel de Vevey is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. When several people are giving the flowers together at Fondation de Verdeil, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.
For a service at All Saints Church, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. If the service takes place at UCJG Vevey, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. When a funeral service is held at Sainte Barbara, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For a patient at Hôpital Riviera-Chablais, Site de la Providence, ask the relevant ward about flower deliveries before ordering and use the hospital’s address as the destination.
Address flowers for someone at Hôtel de Ville with the organisation and department clearly identified, after checking that personal deliveries are accepted.
If the delivery address is Pompes Funèbres Gavillet SA, confirm the exact meeting point and arrangements with the venue before ordering a tribute. For a tribute intended for Cimetière Saint-Martin, confirm with the cemetery where flowers can be accepted and which entrance or meeting point to use before placing the order; a cemetery name alone does not specify the handover location.
If you are planning flowers for a meal at Funiculì Funiculà, ask the restaurant whether it can accept the delivery and give the reservation name and meal date when discussing arrangements; do not assume that flowers can be left on the table before the guests arrive.
You can also browse dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses and balloons, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
