You’ll pick the city and day on the product
Ordering from abroad? A local florist prepares and delivers your flowers in Astley. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. The order can be paid for online in your own currency. A personal message accompanies the flowers on a free card, using exactly the words you provide. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. Local landmarks such as 3rd Duke of Bridgewater's monument are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. People locate the town by Leigh Cenotaph in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Planning a same-day delivery in Astley? The ordering deadline is 18:00 local time. Supply the full street address and postcode for the delivery town, and identify the recipient by their full name and contact telephone number. Include an entry code with the order if one is required to access the building. An address in Risley should retain that locality alongside the other delivery details.
Ask whether flowers are accepted by the recipient’s ward at Hanover Centre, and address the order to the hospital itself. A flower order for a recipient at NHS Atherleigh Park needs the hospital’s own delivery address and a prior check with the ward about acceptance.
For a delivery to a teacher at Fred Longworth High School, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. Before sending flowers to Cambian Tyldesley School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. Sending flowers to someone at Star Salford Academy? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
When a funeral service is held at Saint Mary Magdalene's Church, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
If you are sending flowers to someone at Leigh Health Centre, first check whether their ward accepts them and enter the hospital’s full delivery address.
Address flowers for someone at Tyldesley Town Hall with the organisation and department clearly identified, after checking that personal deliveries are accepted.
If the recipient’s address is in Locking Stumps, keep that locality in the full delivery address.
For a tribute intended for Weaste Cemetery, confirm with the cemetery where flowers can be accepted and which entrance or meeting point to use before placing the order; a cemetery name alone does not specify the handover location.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at D'Grand Haveli, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
