A flower order for County Durham can be placed from abroad, with a local florist handling the arrangement and delivery. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. For payment, checkout uses your own currency. Add the words you want the recipient to read: the card is free and the message is kept unchanged. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. 20 Allergate is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. People locate the town by Castle Chare fountain in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Allow for the time difference when ordering: the same-day deadline in County Durham is 18:00 local time. Enter the complete street address, postcode and town for the recipient, with their full name and a telephone number for contact. If the building requires an access code, provide it when placing the order. If the recipient’s address is in Old Shotton, keep that locality in the full delivery address.
Flowers for a service at Parish Church of St Mary and St Cuthbert are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For a thank-you addressed to staff at Peterlee Community Hospital, check flower acceptance and the department’s delivery address before ordering.
Include the locality name on an order addressed to someone in Merryoaks.
If flowers are going to Belmont Cemetery, check the opening hours for the day of the service and agree a handover point rather than relying on a plot number.
The listed gift categories include gift baskets, plants, chocolates, wine, champagne and cakes; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
