A florist in Gateshead handles the arrangement and delivery when you order from abroad. When choosing the flowers, consider the recipient’s tastes and whether you want the gift to feel personal, formal or understated for the person receiving it. Place your order online and pay in your own currency. Add the words you want the recipient to read: the card is free and the message is kept unchanged. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. Local landmarks such as Column to Liberty are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. Durham Light Infantry War Memorial is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Place a same-day order for Gateshead by the local cutoff of 18:00. Enter the complete street address, postcode and town for the recipient, with their full name and a telephone number for contact. Any required building access code should accompany the order. An address in Low Fell should retain that locality alongside the other delivery details.
When addressing flowers to a guest at Hilton Newcastle Gateshead, supply the booking name and confirm acceptance with the hotel. For a guest at Delta Hotels Newcastle Gateshead, confirm that the hotel accepts flower deliveries and provide the name used for the reservation. Use the reservation name for a delivery addressed to Premier Inn, after checking that the hotel can accept flowers. The street address listed for Hilton Newcastle Gateshead is Bottle Bank; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
Sending flowers to someone at Grace College? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
For a service at Christ Church Felling, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. When a funeral service is held at St Helen's Church Low Fell, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. For a service at St Andrew's Church, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
When entering an address in Dunston, include the locality as well as the street and postcode.
For a tribute addressed to E Bush, check the delivery arrangements and precise meeting point with the venue first. Before sending a tribute to Saltwell Cemetery, ask which gate is used for deliveries and whether somebody needs to be there to receive it.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at Pizza Hut, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
The listed gift categories include gift baskets, plants, chocolates, wine, champagne and cakes; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
