You’ll pick the city and day on the product
You can send flowers to someone in Mayfield even when you are in another country, with the arrangement prepared and delivered locally for your recipient. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. When you complete the order, you pay online in your own currency. Write your message for the included card, free of charge and without changes to your wording. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. People locate the town by Bonnyrigg War Memorial in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination. Dr Andrew Balfour Drinking Fountain is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
The local ordering deadline for same-day flowers in Mayfield is 18:00. Provide the street, number, postcode and town together with the recipient’s full name and contact telephone number. Remember to include the entry code if the destination requires one. For someone in Pentlands Science Park, use that locality name within the delivery address.
If you are sending flowers to someone at Midlothian Community Hospital, first check whether their ward accepts them and enter the hospital’s full delivery address. The listed address for Midlothian Community Hospital is Eskbank Road 70; confirm the appropriate entrance or delivery point with the hospital before using this address for flowers.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Dalkeith High School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. Before sending flowers to Lasswade High School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. A delivery for Newbattle High School is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department.
If the service takes place at Cockpen and Carrington Parish Church, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. Flowers for a service at St Leonard's are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at St David's, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Check with Carberry Tower before sending flowers for a guest, and supply the name on the booking.
If the delivery address is Herkes, confirm the exact meeting point and arrangements with the venue before ordering a tribute. Before sending a tribute to Newington Cemetery, ask which gate is used for deliveries and whether somebody needs to be there to receive it.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at Esk Valley, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants, chocolates, wine, champagne and cakes. Check availability for the product you choose.
If you are sending to a guest of Borthwick Castle Hotel, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation.
When addressing flowers to a guest at Edinburgh Lodges, supply the booking name and confirm acceptance with the hotel.
