You do not need to be in Ruthin to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. The order can be paid for online in your own currency. You can write a message for the card without an extra charge, and the wording stays as you entered it. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. Local landmarks such as Tom Price Memorial are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.

Use the hospital’s full address for Ruthin Community Hospital, and ask the relevant ward whether flowers may be delivered. For an order addressed to Ruthin Community Hospital, the listed location is Llanrhydd Street; confirm the appropriate entrance or delivery point with the hospital before using this address for flowers.
If you are sending to a guest of Manorhaus, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation. A flower order for someone staying at Park Place Hotel should use the booking name; check acceptance with the hotel first. Check with Ruthin Castle Hotel before sending flowers for a guest, and supply the name on the booking. The street address listed for Manorhaus is Well Street 10-12; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
For a delivery to a teacher at Ysgol Brynhyfryd, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. A delivery for Rhos Street School is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. When several people are giving the flowers together at Ruthin School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.
When a funeral service is held at Saint Peter's Church, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. For a service at Capel Pendref, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. Flowers for a service at English Presbyterian Church are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For someone working at Ruthin Town Council, confirm that flowers can be accepted and supply the organisation’s name and the relevant department.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at The Star Bistro, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
You can also browse gift baskets, plants, chocolates, wine, champagne and cakes, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
Use the full destination address on the order: street and number, postcode and town, followed by the recipient’s name and contact number.
Where access depends on a door code, include that code in the order details.
