You’ll pick the city and day on the product
For a recipient in Somerton, you can place the order from abroad and have the flowers prepared locally for delivery. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. Place your order online and pay in your own currency. The card is included in the order, and your message is printed exactly as written. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else. Local landmarks such as The War Memorial are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. Market Cross is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
For delivery on the same day in Somerton, the order needs to be placed before 18:00 local time. Complete the order with the destination’s street address, number, postcode and town, adding the recipient’s full name and contact telephone number. Supply any necessary door code as part of the delivery instructions.
Use the reservation name for a delivery addressed to The Unicorn, after checking that the hotel can accept flowers. A flower order for someone staying at Harleys Court Cottages should use the booking name; check acceptance with the hotel first. For delivery details relating to The Unicorn, its listed address is West Street; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
Before sending flowers to King Ina Church of England Academy (Juniors), name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. For a delivery to a teacher at King Ina Academy (Infants), write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. A delivery for King Ina Church of England Academy is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department.
For a service at St Michael and All Angels Church, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. When a funeral service is held at St Cleers Chapel, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. If the service takes place at St. Dunstan's Catholic Church, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Ask about personal flower deliveries at Parish Rooms, then identify the organisation and recipient’s department on the order.
If you are planning flowers for a meal at 28 Market Place, ask the restaurant whether it can accept the delivery and give the reservation name and meal date when discussing arrangements; do not assume that flowers can be left on the table before the guests arrive.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants, chocolates, wine, champagne and cakes. Check availability for the product you choose.
