Send flowers to Glarus from another country; the arrangement is made and delivered locally. When choosing the flowers, consider the recipient’s tastes and whether you want the gift to feel personal, formal or understated for the person receiving it. Checkout lets you pay in your own currency. There is no charge for the accompanying card, which uses your message exactly as supplied. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. Local landmarks such as Bourbaki-Denkmal Glarus are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. People locate the town by Gessner-Denkmal in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.

Before submitting, include the recipient’s full name and phone number together with the destination’s street, number, postcode and town. Remember to include the entry code if the destination requires one. An address in Babylon should retain that locality alongside the other delivery details.
Check that Glarnerhof can accept flowers for the guest before ordering, using the reservation name to identify them. If the recipient is staying at Freihof, ask about flower delivery arrangements and give the name on their reservation. Sending to Haus der Inspiration? Check acceptance with the hotel and put the reservation name on the order. For delivery details relating to Glarnerhof, its listed address is Bahnhofstrasse 2; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Kantonsschule Glarus, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. Before sending flowers to Bildungszentrum Gesundheit & Soziales Glarus, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. Sending flowers to someone at Zaunschulhaus? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
If the service takes place at Stadtkirche, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. When a funeral service is held at Burgkapelle St. Michael, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. Flowers for a service at Lambda Zen Tempel are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Check whether Gemeindehaus Glarus accepts flowers for staff before ordering, and include the organisation and any department in the delivery details.
In practice, include the locality name on an order addressed to someone in Bleiche.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at Migros Restaurant, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
Other listed options include dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses and balloons. Check availability for the product you choose.
