Same Day Delivery
Send your flower order for Dorchester online from abroad; preparation and delivery take place locally. For a personal gift, let the recipient’s tastes guide your choice of flowers and consider whether a relaxed, romantic or more formal style would suit them. Place your order online and pay in your own currency. A personal message accompanies the flowers on a free card, using exactly the words you provide. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. Fordington German Prisoners of War Memorial is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. Local landmarks such as Malta Close Memorial are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.

The local ordering deadline for same-day flowers in Dorchester is 18:00. Complete the order with the destination’s street address, number, postcode and town, adding the recipient’s full name and contact telephone number. If the building requires an access code, provide it when placing the order. When entering an address in Poundbury, include the locality as well as the street and postcode.
Use the reservation name for a delivery addressed to Kings Arms Hotel, after checking that the hotel can accept flowers. Check that The Casterbridge can accept flowers for the guest before ordering, using the reservation name to identify them.
Before sending flowers to The Thomas Hardye School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. Sending flowers to someone at Damers First School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
For a service at All Saints Church, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. When a funeral service is held at St George, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. For a service at Church of St Mary the Virgin, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
If you are sending to a guest of Premier Inn, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation.
Ask whether flowers are accepted by the recipient’s ward at Dorset County Hospital, and address the order to the hospital itself.
Ask about personal flower deliveries at Dorset History Centre, then identify the organisation and recipient’s department on the order.
For someone in Fordington, use that locality name within the delivery address.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at Nando's, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
You can also browse gift baskets, plants, chocolates, wine, champagne and cakes, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
For a patient at The Winterbourne Hospital, ask the relevant ward about flower deliveries before ordering and use the hospital’s address as the destination.
