Complete the order with the destination’s street address, number, postcode and town, adding the recipient’s full name and contact telephone number. Remember to include the entry code if the destination requires one. If the destination is in Dongguan, retain the locality name as part of the full address.
Sending flowers to someone at Tianshui Xinhua Elementary School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
For a service at Houjie Mosque, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. Flowers for a service at Fuxi Temple are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. If the service takes place at Houzhai Mosque, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
A guest’s reservation name should accompany an order for Hanting Hotel, after you have checked with the hotel that a flower delivery can be accepted.
Check the flower policy of the relevant ward before ordering for Hospital 407 Tianshui, using the hospital’s own address for the destination.
Before placing a workplace order for Yuquan Townhall, ask whether personal deliveries are accepted and give the organisation and recipient’s department.
Keep the locality on the order when the recipient’s address is in Qilidun.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at Haidilao Hot Pot, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants, chocolates and cakes. Check availability for the product you choose.
