Sending Flowers to Schools in KOnigsfeld im Schwarzwald

Before sending flowers to Axel-Strecker-Grundschule Neuhausen, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. A delivery for Zinzendorf Schulen is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. For a delivery to a teacher at Grundschule, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.

Occasions and Sympathy Flowers in KOnigsfeld im Schwarzwald

In Germany, Valentine's Day (Valentinstag) falls on 14 February, with red roses and mixed bouquets associated with the occasion. For Mother's Day (Muttertag), the calendar date is the second Sunday of May, with flowers among the gifts associated with the occasion. Christmas (Weihnachten) takes place on 24 and 25 December, with table arrangements, amaryllis and poinsettias associated with the occasion. Sunday of the Dead (Totensonntag) comes on the last Sunday before Advent, with flowers used to mark remembrance at graves. In German gifting traditions, red roses can carry a romantic meaning; when choosing flowers for a friend, colleague or host, consider the message you want the gift to convey and use the personal card to make the occasion clear.

If the service takes place at Nikolauskirche, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. For a service at Kirchensaal Ev. Brüdergemeine + Ev. Kirchengemeinde, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. Flowers for a service at Treffpunkt Leben are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. In the context of German customs, a funeral wreath or arrangement may carry a Schleife, a printed ribbon naming the mourner; if you want a ribbon, specify the requested wording when discussing the tribute, including the names of those sending it. Chrysanthemums, white lilies and white roses are customary choices for funeral flowers; use the occasion and the family’s preferences to guide the choice of tribute, and check the selected product for the flowers it includes. For this kind of gift, a Grabgesteck may be placed on a grave for Totensonntag and, in Catholic states, for Allerheiligen; for a tribute intended for a grave, ask the cemetery about the precise location and its arrangements for accepting flowers.
