Sending Flowers to Schools in Vogtlandkreis

For a delivery to a teacher at BSZ Anne Frank, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. A delivery for Erich-Ohser-Grundschule is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. When several people are giving the flowers together at Evangelische Montessori-Grundschule Plauen, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.

Occasions and Sympathy Flowers in Vogtlandkreis

In Germany, on 14 February, Valentine's Day (Valentinstag) is celebrated, with red roses and mixed bouquets associated with the occasion. Mother's Day (Muttertag) is marked on the second Sunday of May, with flowers among the gifts associated with the occasion. The celebration of Christmas (Weihnachten) falls on 24 and 25 December, with table arrangements, amaryllis and poinsettias associated with the occasion. The calendar marks Sunday of the Dead (Totensonntag) on the last Sunday before Advent, with flowers used to mark remembrance at graves. In German gifting traditions, red roses can carry a romantic meaning; when choosing flowers for a friend, colleague or host, consider the message you want the gift to convey and use the personal card to make the occasion clear.

For a service at Pauluskirche, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. Flowers for a service at Ev.-Luth. Kirche Reumtengrün are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. If the service takes place at Kirche Santa Katharina zu Eichigt, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. Across Germany, a funeral wreath or arrangement may carry a Schleife, a printed ribbon naming the mourner; if you want a ribbon, specify the requested wording when discussing the tribute, including the names of those sending it. For this kind of gift, chrysanthemums, white lilies and white roses are customary choices for funeral flowers; use the occasion and the family’s preferences to guide the choice of tribute, and check the selected product for the flowers it includes. For the choice of flowers, a Grabgesteck may be placed on a grave for Totensonntag and, in Catholic states, for Allerheiligen; for a tribute intended for a grave, ask the cemetery about the precise location and its arrangements for accepting flowers.
