Same Day Delivery
You do not need to be in Zwiefalten to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. You pay online in your own currency. You can write a message for the card without an extra charge, and the wording stays as you entered it. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear.

Same-day orders for Zwiefalten close at 15:00 local time. Include the full delivery address and postcode, the recipient’s name and a phone number the florist can use if details need checking. Any required building access code should accompany the order. When checking a German destination address, the postcode has five digits and comes before the town name; copy both from the recipient’s address and keep the street and building number with the delivery details.
Check with Gasthof Post before sending flowers for a guest, and supply the name on the booking. The address given for Gasthof Post is Hauptstraße 44; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
In German practice, a funeral wreath or arrangement may carry a Schleife, a printed ribbon naming the mourner; if you want a ribbon, specify the requested wording when discussing the tribute, including the names of those sending it. Chrysanthemums, white lilies and white roses are customary choices for funeral flowers; use the occasion and the family’s preferences to guide the choice of tribute, and check the selected product for the flowers it includes. For a gift that reflects the occasion, a Grabgesteck may be placed on a grave for Totensonntag and, in Catholic states, for Allerheiligen; for a tribute intended for a grave, ask the cemetery about the precise location and its arrangements for accepting flowers.
In Germany, for those marking Valentine's Day (Valentinstag), the date is 14 February, with red roses and mixed bouquets associated with the occasion. Mother's Day (Muttertag) is marked on the second Sunday of May, with flowers among the gifts associated with the occasion. The date for Christmas (Weihnachten) is 24 and 25 December, with table arrangements, amaryllis and poinsettias associated with the occasion. Sunday of the Dead (Totensonntag) falls on the last Sunday before Advent, with flowers used to mark remembrance at graves. Across Germany, red roses can carry a romantic meaning; when choosing flowers for a friend, colleague or host, consider the message you want the gift to convey and use the personal card to make the occasion clear.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
If you are planning flowers for a meal at Pils-Bar, Pizzeria "Fäßle", ask the restaurant whether it can accept the delivery and give the reservation name and meal date when discussing arrangements; do not assume that flowers can be left on the table before the guests arrive.
You can also browse dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses and cakes, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
