A flower order for Galafura can be placed from abroad, with a local florist handling the arrangement and delivery. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. You can complete payment online using your own currency. There is no charge for the accompanying card, which uses your message exactly as supplied. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. Local landmarks such as Centenário D. Bosco are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.

Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Order before 18:00 in the destination’s local time for same-day delivery in Galafura. The address details should identify the street and number, postcode and town, as well as the recipient’s full name and phone number. Remember to include the entry code if the destination requires one. When the destination is in Cabana, include the locality rather than leaving it out of the address.
If the recipient is staying at Quinta da Estrada Winery Douro Valley, ask about flower delivery arrangements and give the name on their reservation. Sending to Quinta da Azenha? Check acceptance with the hotel and put the reservation name on the order.
Before sending flowers to Antiga Escola Primária de Abaças, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. When several people are giving the flowers together at Antiga Escola Primária de Bujões, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. For a delivery to a teacher at Antiga Escola Primária de Gouvinhas, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
For a service at Capela de Nossa Senhora do Loreto, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For a guest at Hotel Folgosa Douro, confirm that the hotel accepts flower deliveries and provide the name used for the reservation.
Before sending to a workplace such as Junta de Freguesia da Folgosa, check acceptance and include the organisation and department in the address.
Address details for Lugar da Estalagem should include the locality, street, number and postcode.
A delivery timed for a meal at Rui Paula Restaurante Doc needs the reservation name and the sitting; ask whether an earlier drop-off suits the restaurant better than one during service.
The listed gift categories include dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses, cakes and balloons; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
