Same Day Delivery
Send your flower order for Gouvaes do Douro online from abroad; preparation and delivery take place locally. For a personal gift, let the recipient’s tastes guide your choice of flowers and consider whether a relaxed, romantic or more formal style would suit them. When you complete the order, you pay online in your own currency. A free card message is included, with your wording kept exactly as you write it. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else. Igreja Paroquial de Provesende is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door.

The same-day ordering cutoff in Gouvaes do Douro is 18:00, local time. The address details should identify the street and number, postcode and town, as well as the recipient’s full name and phone number. When the entrance uses a code, add it before completing the order. Keep the locality on the order when the recipient’s address is in Além da Fonte.
If the recipient is staying at Casa do Visconde de Chanceleiros, ask about flower delivery arrangements and give the name on their reservation. When addressing flowers to a guest at The Homeboat Company, supply the booking name and confirm acceptance with the hotel. For a guest at Hotel Rural Quinta do Pégo, confirm that the hotel accepts flower deliveries and provide the name used for the reservation. The address given for Casa do Visconde de Chanceleiros is Largo da Fonte; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Escola Básica do Pinhão, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. Sending flowers to someone at Escola EB1 de Provesende? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
If the service takes place at Capela de Covas do Douro, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. For a service at Capela de Nossa Senhora da Fonte Santa, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. When a funeral service is held at Capela de Nossa Senhora do Pilar, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Before sending to a workplace such as Junta de Freguesia de Vale de Mendiz, check acceptance and include the organisation and department in the address.
For someone in Bairro Chão da Armada, use that locality name within the delivery address.
If you are planning flowers for a meal at Casa dos Ecos, ask the restaurant whether it can accept the delivery and give the reservation name and meal date when discussing arrangements; do not assume that flowers can be left on the table before the guests arrive.
The listed gift categories include dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses, cakes and balloons; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
