A flower order for Marvão can be placed from abroad, with a local florist handling the arrangement and delivery. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. You can complete payment online using your own currency. Include a personal card message at no extra cost, with the wording reproduced exactly as you enter it. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else.

Use the full destination address on the order: street and number, postcode and town, followed by the recipient’s name and contact number. When the entrance uses a code, add it before completing the order.
If you are sending to a guest of Hotel El-Rei Dom Manuel, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation. Check that Marvão Hotel e Museu. can accept flowers for the guest before ordering, using the reservation name to identify them. The address for Hotel El-Rei Dom Manuel is given as Largo de Olivença; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
For a service at Capela do Calvário, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. Flowers for a service at Igreja Matriz de Santo António das Areias are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at Igreja de Nossa Senhora do Carmo, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For a recipient at Junta de Freguesia de Santo António das Areias, include the organisation’s name and any floor or department, and check whether personal deliveries are accepted.
For a table booked at Varanda do Alentejo, flowers are usually handed over at reception rather than carried to the table, so agree with the restaurant beforehand when and where they should arrive.
