Flower Delivery in Kempten (Allgäu)

How to Order Flowers for Kempten (Allgäu)

Use the full destination address on the order: street and number, postcode and town, followed by the recipient’s name and contact number. If an entry code is needed, include it with the order. When entering an address in Heiligkreuz, include the locality as well as the street and postcode. In Germany, the postcode has five digits and comes before the town name; copy both from the recipient’s address and keep the street and building number with the delivery details. The localities of Kempten (Allgäu) include Sankt Mang, Lenzfried, Heiligkreuz and Hirschdorf; when the recipient uses one of these locality names, retain it as part of the destination rather than reducing their address to the main city name alone.

Occasions and Sympathy Flowers in Kempten (Allgäu)

In Germany, the date for Valentine's Day (Valentinstag) is 14 February, with red roses and mixed bouquets associated with the occasion. Mother's Day (Muttertag) has its place in the calendar on the second Sunday of May, with flowers among the gifts associated with the occasion. Christmas (Weihnachten) is observed on 24 and 25 December, with table arrangements, amaryllis and poinsettias associated with the occasion. For those marking Sunday of the Dead (Totensonntag), the date is the last Sunday before Advent, with flowers used to mark remembrance at graves. As part of German custom, red roses can carry a romantic meaning; when choosing flowers for a friend, colleague or host, consider the message you want the gift to convey and use the personal card to make the occasion clear.

For a service at Sankt Mang, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. If the service takes place at Christuskirche, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. Flowers for a service at Seelenkapelle are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. In the context of German customs, a funeral wreath or arrangement may carry a Schleife, a printed ribbon naming the mourner; if you want a ribbon, specify the requested wording when discussing the tribute, including the names of those sending it. When considering an arrangement, chrysanthemums, white lilies and white roses are customary choices for funeral flowers; use the occasion and the family’s preferences to guide the choice of tribute, and check the selected product for the flowers it includes. For a gift that reflects the occasion, a Grabgesteck may be placed on a grave for Totensonntag and, in Catholic states, for Allerheiligen; for a tribute intended for a grave, ask the cemetery about the precise location and its arrangements for accepting flowers.
