Sending Flowers to Schools in Kevelaer

A delivery for Gesamtschule Kevelaer is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. For a delivery to a teacher at St. Antonius Schule, katholische Grundschule, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. Before sending flowers to Grundschule Overberg / St.Norbert - Standort Kervenheim, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.

Occasions and Sympathy Flowers in Kevelaer

In Germany, Valentine's Day (Valentinstag) takes place on 14 February, with red roses and mixed bouquets associated with the occasion. On the second Sunday of May, Mother's Day (Muttertag) is celebrated, with flowers among the gifts associated with the occasion. The calendar marks Christmas (Weihnachten) on 24 and 25 December, with table arrangements, amaryllis and poinsettias associated with the occasion. Sunday of the Dead (Totensonntag) falls on the last Sunday before Advent, with flowers used to mark remembrance at graves. In the context of German customs, red roses can carry a romantic meaning; when choosing flowers for a friend, colleague or host, consider the message you want the gift to convey and use the personal card to make the occasion clear.

For a service at Clemenskapelle, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. For a service at Orthodoxe Johanneskapelle, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. If the service takes place at St. Antonius, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. In German gifting traditions, a funeral wreath or arrangement may carry a Schleife, a printed ribbon naming the mourner; if you want a ribbon, specify the requested wording when discussing the tribute, including the names of those sending it. For a gift that reflects the occasion, chrysanthemums, white lilies and white roses are customary choices for funeral flowers; use the occasion and the family’s preferences to guide the choice of tribute, and check the selected product for the flowers it includes. For this kind of gift, a Grabgesteck may be placed on a grave for Totensonntag and, in Catholic states, for Allerheiligen; for a tribute intended for a grave, ask the cemetery about the precise location and its arrangements for accepting flowers.
