H1: Flower Delivery to South Korea — Flowers, Gift Baskets, Plants, Chocolates

Order before 14:00 local time and the flowers can be at their door the same day, which is what same-day flower delivery in South Korea is really for when you are the one in another country. The distance is exactly why they matter: a bouquet that turns up on the right afternoon carries more than a message on a screen does. Every order also includes a free card message, printed exactly as you write it, so your words arrive in the room with the flowers.

Browse over 100 bouquets and set the delivery date at checkout, and the florist works to the day you picked, not the day the order happened to land.

More About Flowers Delivery in South Korea

Delivery days, and what happens if a stem runs out

We deliver Monday to Saturday, which puts Sunday outside the delivery week; a date chosen then moves to the next working day you pick. And if a particular flower is not in that morning, the florist swaps it for one of equal or greater value that keeps the same look, so the bouquet that arrives is the one you recognised on screen, built from stems that were actually good that day.

What goes on the address line in South Korea

Addresses run on a five-digit postcode — 03187 is the shape of it — and it belongs on the order with the street and building. Add the recipient's local phone number as well: florists use it to confirm availability and to pin down the exact address before setting out. Apartment deliveries often need a door code, so add that at checkout too, along with the building and unit if you have them. Without the code, a delivery can get as far as the lobby and no further.

Roses, gerbera and the greenery between them

Roses, carnations, chrysanthemums, lilies, gerbera and tulips are the flowers a florist here works with most, and eucalyptus, ruscus and monstera leaves are the greenery around them, with baby's breath as filler. Greenhouse-grown roses, chrysanthemums and gerbera are available year-round, while field production and outdoor blooms are concentrated in spring through autumn. Alongside fresh flowers there are gift baskets, plants and chocolates. And there does not need to be an occasion at all — a bouquet on an ordinary Tuesday is often the one people remember.

Why bouquets here come wrapped in a cone

The style tends to be clean and modern, with a strong preference for single-variety bouquets: one flower, done properly, hand-tied and wrapped in a cone of kraft or cellophane paper and finished with ribbon. Roses, chrysanthemums, gerbera, lilies and carnations are grown in the country, with production around Goyang, Icheon, Gimhae and Jeju, and the trade running through Yangjae aT Flower Market in Seoul. For a funeral, white chrysanthemums are the standard flower, and tall standing wreaths carrying ribbons with the sender's name are sent to funeral halls; wreaths and formal funeral pieces need 24-48 hours' notice.

Carnations in May, roses on the 14th

Carnations, often pinned as a brooch or handed over as a bouquet, go to parents and teachers in May: Parents' Day on May 8, then Teachers' Day on May 15. Between them sits Rose Day on May 14, when couples exchange red roses as part of the monthly dating-day calendar. Graduation season, mid-to-late February, puts bouquets into the hands of graduates, and large standing flower wreaths (화환) are sent to congratulate store openings, promotions and graduations. Valentine's Day on February 14, when flowers and gifts are exchanged mainly by women to men, and Mother's Day are the exception to the usual week: florists open for the big flower days, so your order can arrive even when the date falls on a Sunday. Order at least 48 hours ahead.

Where should the flowers go if they are travelling?

Someone mid-journey — at an airport, a railway station, a cruise terminal — is almost impossible to reach with a delivery. Send to their hotel, office or home address instead, timed for after they arrive rather than for the hours they are in the air. If the recipient is not home when the florist calls, they will usually ring them or arrange a redelivery.

Paying from abroad, and who makes the bouquet

Ordering from another country takes a few minutes online, and a local florist handles the delivery: the bouquet is made where it is going, not sent there. You pay in the currency you hold, and the order is placed and settled online, so the only things you have to get right are the address, the date and the spelling of their name.

Customer Questions

Flowers Delivery to South Korea — FAQs

Can I get same-day flower delivery in South Korea?

Yes — order before 14:00 local time and your flowers can be delivered the same day. Orders placed after the cutoff are delivered on the next available day you choose at checkout.

Can I choose the time the flowers arrive?

You can request a preferred time slot, but exact times cannot be guaranteed — deliveries follow the local florist's routes and workload for the day. The delivery date you select at checkout is honoured.

Can flowers be delivered to a hospital?

Acceptance depends on the hospital and ward, so check before ordering; otherwise delivery goes to reception. Use the hospital's own city and full address, with the patient's full name and, where possible, the ward or room.

Can you deliver to a hotel guest?

Yes. Reception will ask for the reservation name and room number, so include the guest's full name and, if you can, their arrival date or booking reference.

Can I send flowers to an office?

Yes — include the company name and, if you know it, the floor or department, and the delivery goes to reception. Choose a day the recipient is in, so it arrives within office hours.

Can you deliver to a care residence?

Yes. Include the resident's full name and, where possible, the floor or unit. It is worth checking the residence accepts flower deliveries; reception will usually pass them on.

Can I pick a delivery date further ahead?

Yes. You can pick any future delivery date at checkout, which is the safest option around busy periods such as the May gifting dates.
