Same Day Delivery
Send your flower order for Maharagama online from abroad; preparation and delivery take place locally. For a personal gift, let the recipient’s tastes guide your choice of flowers and consider whether a relaxed, romantic or more formal style would suit them. Place your order online and pay in your own currency. The included card carries your personal message word for word, with no additional charge. Take a moment to review the names, spelling and signature before confirming, so the message you submit says what you intended and clearly identifies who it is from. People locate the town by Jayawadanagama Monument in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination. Local landmarks such as Kohuwala Cemetery are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.

Same-day orders for Maharagama close at 18:00 local time. Use the full destination address on the order: street and number, postcode and town, followed by the recipient’s name and contact number. Where access depends on a door code, include that code in the order details. For a recipient whose address is in Embuldeniya, keep that place name in the address you enter.
Check with Hotel Ariyana Reach before sending flowers for a guest, and supply the name on the booking. For flowers addressed to a guest at Uncle Subey, first ask the hotel whether it accepts deliveries and use the guest’s reservation name in the order. For a guest at White Lotus, confirm that the hotel accepts flower deliveries and provide the name used for the reservation. The street address listed for Hotel Ariyana Reach is Railway Avenue; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
A delivery for Ananda Balika Vidyalaya is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. When several people are giving the flowers together at Ananda Sastralaya kotte, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. Before sending flowers to Kottawa Dharmapala MV, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
For a service at Jothika Ramaya, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. For a service at Mayurapada Pirivena Temple, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For a recipient at Apeksha Cancer Hospital Maharagama, check with the hospital and ward that flowers are accepted, then use the hospital’s full address.
An order for a staff member at National Aquaculture Development Authority should include their organisation and department, with acceptance of flower deliveries checked beforehand.
Where the delivery address includes Maligakanda, retain the locality when filling in the order.
A tribute addressed to Liveramentu Cemetery should carry the name of the person it is for and the time of the service: a cemetery covers more ground than a single address.
For a table booked at Clove Bistro, flowers are usually handed over at reception rather than carried to the table, so agree with the restaurant beforehand when and where they should arrive.
You can also browse gift baskets, plants, chocolates and cakes, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
A flower order for a recipient at Odent Dental Surgery needs the hospital’s own delivery address and a prior check with the ward about acceptance.
If you are sending flowers to someone at University Hospital KDU, first check whether their ward accepts them and enter the hospital’s full delivery address.
