Same Day Delivery
Ordering from abroad? A local florist prepares and delivers your flowers in Carbondale. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. Your own currency is used for payment at checkout. Add your personal message to the free card; your words are kept unchanged. Take a moment to review the names, spelling and signature before confirming, so the message you submit says what you intended and clearly identifies who it is from. Merideth Funeral Home is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. Local landmarks such as SIU Entrance Monument are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.

Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
To order flowers for same-day delivery in Carbondale, use the destination’s 12:00 local cutoff. Give the recipient’s full name, street and number, postcode and town, plus a contact phone number for address queries. Supply any necessary door code as part of the delivery instructions.
Before ordering for a guest at Best Western Saluki Inn, ask the hotel about flower deliveries and confirm the reservation name. For flowers addressed to a guest at Hampton, first ask the hotel whether it accepts deliveries and use the guest’s reservation name in the order. Use the reservation name for a delivery addressed to Home2 Suites by Hilton Carbondale, after checking that the hotel can accept flowers. The address for Best Western Saluki Inn is given as North Giant City Road 801; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
A delivery for Brehm Preparatory School is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. For a delivery to a teacher at Carbondale Community High School, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. Sending flowers to someone at Lewis Elementary School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
Flowers for a service at Newman Center are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For a recipient at Illinois Secretary of State Carbondale Facility, include the organisation’s name and any floor or department, and check whether personal deliveries are accepted.
For a table booked at Applebee's, flowers are usually handed over at reception rather than carried to the table, so agree with the restaurant beforehand when and where they should arrive.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants and chocolates. Check availability for the product you choose.
