When completing the delivery details, enter the recipient’s full name, street address, number, postcode and town, together with a contact telephone number. Supply any necessary door code as part of the delivery instructions. If the destination is in Jiulong, retain the locality name as part of the full address.
A flower order for someone staying at Four Points by Sheraton Chongqing Jiulongpo should use the booking name; check acceptance with the hotel first. For flowers addressed to a guest at Holiday Inn Express Chongqing Caiyun Lake, first ask the hotel whether it accepts deliveries and use the guest’s reservation name in the order. When addressing flowers to a guest at 7 Days Inn, supply the booking name and confirm acceptance with the hotel. For delivery details relating to Four Points by Sheraton Chongqing Jiulongpo, its listed address is 石杨路 20; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Chenjiaping Primary School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. For a delivery to a teacher at Chongqing Dancing Academy, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. Sending flowers to someone at Chongqing Experimental Foreign Languages School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
When ordering for a recipient at Jiulongpo District People’s Government, check acceptance of personal deliveries and include the organisation and department in the details.
When the destination is in Longquan, include the locality rather than leaving it out of the address.
A delivery timed for a meal at Pizza Hut needs the reservation name and the sitting; ask whether an earlier drop-off suits the restaurant better than one during service.
