Send flowers to Tanga from another country; the arrangement is made and delivered locally. When choosing the flowers, consider the recipient’s tastes and whether you want the gift to feel personal, formal or understated for the person receiving it. At checkout, the order is paid online in your own currency. There is no charge for the accompanying card, which uses your message exactly as supplied. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. Askari Monument is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. Local landmarks such as Clock Tower 1901 are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.

Allow for the time difference when ordering: the same-day deadline in Tanga is 16:00 local time. The order needs the recipient’s full name, a contact number and the complete destination address, including its street number, postcode and town. Where access depends on a door code, include that code in the order details. An address in Bumbuli Kaya should retain that locality alongside the other delivery details.
Use the reservation name for a delivery addressed to Irente Farm Lodge, after checking that the hotel can accept flowers. For a guest at Rock Hill Hotel, confirm that the hotel accepts flower deliveries and provide the name used for the reservation.
A delivery for POPATLAL SECONDARY SCHOOL is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. For a delivery to a teacher at Tumaini Social Group Mkuzi, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. When several people are giving the flowers together at Balozi Mshangama Secondary School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.
If the service takes place at Kanisa katoliki Tanga parokia ya Antoni Wapadua, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. Flowers for a service at Kitala kikulu are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. When a funeral service is held at Masjid nnajaah, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
When addressing flowers to a guest at Capricorn Beach Cottages, supply the booking name and confirm acceptance with the hotel.
Check with the ward at Bombo Hospital before ordering flowers, and use the hospital’s own address for the delivery.
Before sending to a workplace such as Amani Nature Reserve Office, check acceptance and include the organisation and department in the address.
For a table booked at Pizza Mamma Mia, flowers are usually handed over at reception rather than carried to the table, so agree with the restaurant beforehand when and where they should arrive.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants, chocolates and cakes. Check availability for the product you choose.
Check the flower policy of the relevant ward before ordering for Muheza Dispensary, using the hospital’s own address for the destination.
