Same Day Delivery
A florist in Sint-Katelijne-Waver handles the arrangement and delivery when you order from abroad. When choosing the flowers, consider the recipient’s tastes and whether you want the gift to feel personal, formal or understated for the person receiving it. Your own currency is used for payment at checkout. The included card carries your personal message word for word, with no additional charge. Take a moment to review the names, spelling and signature before confirming, so the message you submit says what you intended and clearly identifies who it is from.

Allow for the time difference when ordering: the same-day deadline in Sint-Katelijne-Waver is 14:00 local time. When completing the delivery details, enter the recipient’s full name, street address, number, postcode and town, together with a contact telephone number. Remember to include the entry code if the destination requires one. When the destination is in Ekelenhoek, include the locality rather than leaving it out of the address.
A delivery for Gemeentelijke Basisschool - Octopus is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. When several people are giving the flowers together at Gemeentelijke basisschool GLOC, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. Sending flowers to someone at Sint-Ursula-Instituut? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
If the service takes place at Sint-Catharinakerk, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. When a funeral service is held at Kloosterkerk, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. For a service at Sint-Augustinuskerk, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
If the recipient works at Kind & Gezin, ask about personal flower deliveries and identify the organisation and their department in the address.
If the delivery address is Roel Vanthienen, confirm the exact meeting point and arrangements with the venue before ordering a tribute.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at Restaurant Centpourcent, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
Other listed options include dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses and cakes. Check availability for the product you choose.
