Fresh blooms delivered to over 120+ countries.
Same Day Delivery
You can send flowers to someone in Iowa City even when you are in another country, with the arrangement prepared and delivered locally for your recipient. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. Payment is taken online in your own currency. The included card carries your personal message word for word, with no additional charge. Take a moment to review the names, spelling and signature before confirming, so the message you submit says what you intended and clearly identifies who it is from. Local landmarks such as Herky are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. Rose Garden is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door.

The local ordering deadline for same-day flowers in Iowa City is 12:00. Check that Graduate by Hilton Iowa City can accept flowers for the guest before ordering, using the reservation name to identify them. A guest’s reservation name should accompany an order for Hampton Inn Iowa City/University Area, after you have checked with the hotel that a flower delivery can be accepted. Use the reservation name for a delivery addressed to Hilton hotelVetro Iowa City, after checking that the hotel can accept flowers. For an order addressed to Graduate by Hilton Iowa City, the listed location is South Dubuque Street 210; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
Sending flowers to someone at Iowa City High School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. For a delivery to a teacher at Longfellow Elementary School, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. Before sending flowers to Southeast Middle School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
Flowers for a service at Old Brick Episcopal Church are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at Saint Marys Church, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Before arranging flowers for someone at UI Health Care Medical Center Downtown, check acceptance with the hospital and ward, then provide the institution’s complete address.
When ordering for a recipient at Johnson County Courthouse, check acceptance of personal deliveries and include the organisation and department in the details.
For an address in Cardinal Pointe South, include the locality together with the street, number and postcode.
Before ordering a tribute for delivery to Gay & Ciha Funeral & Cremation Service, ask the venue to confirm the address and handover arrangements. If flowers are going to Oakland Cemetery, check the opening hours for the day of the service and agree a handover point rather than relying on a plot number.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at Village Inn, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
