Same Day Delivery
A flower order for Skofja Loka can be placed from abroad, with a local florist handling the arrangement and delivery. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. The order can be paid for online in your own currency. The card is included in the order, and your message is printed exactly as written. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else. Local landmarks such as Vešterski mlin are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. People locate the town by Dr. Jože Rant in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.

For the delivery address, provide the recipient’s full name and telephone number along with the street, house number, postcode and town. Include an entry code with the order if one is required to access the building. If the destination is in Puštal, retain the locality name as part of the full address.
A guest’s reservation name should accompany an order for Mini hotel, after you have checked with the hotel that a flower delivery can be accepted. Before ordering for a guest at Hotel Lonca, ask the hotel about flower deliveries and confirm the reservation name.
Sending flowers to someone at Šola prenove? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. A delivery for OŠ Škofja Loka Mesto is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. For a delivery to a teacher at Srednja šola za lesarstvo, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
When a funeral service is held at Župnijska cerkev svetega Jakoba, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For a guest at Hotel Garni Paleta, confirm that the hotel accepts flower deliveries and provide the name used for the reservation.
If the recipient works at Žigonova hiša (Občina Škofja Loka), ask about personal flower deliveries and identify the organisation and their department in the address.
When entering an address in Stari Dvor, include the locality as well as the street and postcode.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at Gostilna Pri Kajbitu, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
You can also browse dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses and cakes, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
